•About me•

Who am I?  Well, in terms of personality traits, the ones I believe describe me best are spirited, ambitious, hardworking, and artistic.  They have certainly, in one way or another, been expressed in my experience as  student and athlete and now as an emerging young entrepreneur, advocate and humanitarian, singer/songwriter.   As an athlete, I was given the great opportunity to try out for the national U-18 National team.  I had the privilege of playing in and winning a gold medal in the 2010 Ontario Winter Games in the Muskokas.  I was doing rather well in school with little to no difficulty aside from missing school for my athletics.   Following a regrettable experience of recurring concussions and the resulting issues from that,  I decided to switch my skates for a guitar and song writing and pursue my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and advocate.  The process of coming into that decision was difficult for me and I needed to work through some very intense, scary and painful emotions and circumstances. The experience was made more difficult by sometimes not being heard, feeling judged and misunderstood. This is where the inspiration for the next chapter in my life comes from. Today, with the help of my team I have created a social enterprise; Inspired Creations, with the goal to inspire youth promoting a message of personal empowerment and as advocate for resources and supports for youth recovering from mental health issues and experiences.  I am inspired to do so as a payback, for all the support I was blessed to receive through my own recovery experience and journey.  And with music is where the real story and expression of me begins...
